Our infrastructure has over half of this year's expedition, and the first part of the polar ecology course is in progress. Students of the algal-microbiological group spent one week at the Nostoc field station where they had worked on their projects. They have moved to Payer's house in Longyearbyen, where they continue to work with the zoo-parasitology group. After that, group of botanists moves to the field station. We believe that the summer expedition will continue in the same calm spirit as before. More news from the 2018 season can be spotted on our FB site.
